OPPO on Tuesday announced the India launch of its Reno14 smartphone series, introducing two new models — the Reno14 and Reno14 Pro — featuring advanced AI imaging features, upgraded performance, and wireless charging capabilities.
The Reno14 Pro becomes the first smartphone in India to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 8450 chipset. The standard Reno14 model runs on the Dimensity 8350. Both are optimized for users demanding strong performance and AI-assisted photo tools.
Each device comes with a triple-lens 50MP camera array and includes up to 120x digital zoom, 4K HDR video support, and a water-shooting mode that allows underwater photography without an external case. AI-powered tools such as AI Best Face, AI Editor 2.0, and AI Eraser are bundled natively, aimed at users focused on photo enhancement and post-production.
The Reno14 Pro sports a 6.83-inch AMOLED panel, while the base model includes a 6.59-inch screen. Both feature 120Hz refresh rates. Structurally, the phones feature IP66/68/69 protection, aerospace-grade aluminum frames, and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection. OPPO’s vapor chamber cooling ensures thermal stability during extended usage.
Battery capacities vary between the two: 6000mAh for the Reno14 and 6200mAh for the Pro, which also supports 50W wireless charging. Both phones ship with ColorOS 15 and include built-in Google Gemini AI integration, which enables real-time transcription, AI-generated summaries, voice-based search, and instant translation through Circle-to-Search.
In addition to the phones, OPPO unveiled the OPPO Pad SE, an 11-inch tablet with TÜV Rheinland-certified eye protection and a 9340mAh battery, targeting users who prioritize screen-time safety.
